This issue of Spray Foam Magazine is dedicated to our founder, Doug Commette (February 22, 1966 – December 8, 2025). His unexpected passing has left an immeasurable void in our industry and in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Doug’s passion, leadership, and commitment to the spray foam community helped shape this publication and the industry it serves.
In his honor, this issue celebrates what truly makes our industry remarkable, the strong sense of support, collaboration, and camaraderie shared among its professionals. With an exceptional group of applicants for the 2025 Contractor of the Year (COTY) award, the competition was particularly impressive.
This year, we are proud to recognize not one, but two outstanding winners for our 2025 Contractor of the Year:
