Tennessee Chill Box Announces New Air Line Hose Assembly for Air-Conditioned Respirator System

HARRISON, TN–April 2, 2013–Tennessee Chill Box, LLC is proud to announce a brand new air line hose assembly for it's air-conditioned respirator systems. The announcement comes as spray foam season ramps up, and just before the onset of summer.
Tennessee Chill Box has been providing spray applicators with air respirator system solutions since 2010, and the implementation of the new hose assembly comes as part of the company's ongoing research and development for its blower-driven respirators.
"It's got heavy-duty performance for commercial use," said Mike Asbra, President of Tennessee Chill Box.
In fact, the hose is crush-proof and offers a high degree of kink resistance. Applicator mobility benefits from a hose weight of just 16 lbs. per 100-foot length, and also from the hose's extreme flexibility–a mere 2.6-inch central bend radius.
"We took a section of hose and froze it to zero degrees, pulled it out of the freezer and twisted and bent the sample," said Asbra. "It showed no signs of splitting or breaking."
The new hose assembly can also handle the rigors of spray applications, as the outer shell is highly resistant to abrasions and ultraviolet light. The hose is resistant to moisture and chemicals as well. Moreover, the hose's interior offers less resistance to air flow, which benefits cooling capacity and delivery of fresh air to the applicator.
The new hose assembly meets or exceeds all requisite OSHA and NIOSH standards, and the hose manufacturer is ISO 9001:2000 corporation as well. Air-conditioned respirators with the new hose assemblies are currently available. Tennessee Chill Box is currently updating the fittings for the hose assembly as well.
