Spray Foam Magazine – Summer Issue 2021 – The Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA) has been hard at work expanding its offerings and benefits to members and the industry. With the recent launch of our improved website, we are utilizing the online portal as a central hub for all resources, education, certifications, event information, technical guidance and much more.

There are two new additions to Sprayfoam.org that we are pretty excited about. The first, our all-new Contractor Webinar Series, features industry leaders as they share knowledge of important topics and issues that are currently shaping the industry. A recent webinar held in May on Low GWP Formulations: Opportunities and Obstacles was led by industry veteran Tom Harris of Pur Consulting, LLC. Tom’s session explored the current shift to HFO-based spray foams, the improved application characteristics of these next generation SPFs as well as the impact they’ll have on company profit.

Don’t miss the SPFA Update on New Policies from Washington, DC in June, to be led by Craig Brightup of the Brightup Group, LLC as well as Five Steps to Predictable Revenue in July with Zach Forner of Sales Transformation Group, Inc. Craig’s June 8th session will explore the latest on COVID relief, an infrastructure and energy efficiency package, and other important developments including OSHA regulatory changes. Zach’s July 13th webinar will educate contractors about the ways to create a consistent pipeline with predictable revenue. Members enjoy complimentary registration to the webinars and non-members may access them for $25.

Our second new offering is one accessible only to SPFA members. The brainchild of the SPFA Safety Committee, the recently launched Tool Box Talks Program offers 52 weekly talks designed specifically for spray foam contractors. Each talk is summarized on a single, easily downloadable page, providing team leaders with 15-20 minutes of teachable content on a particular safety topic. It also includes a sign-in sheet for company record keeping. Tool Box Talks are presented each week of the year, addressing seasonal safety concerns.

Sign up for our Contractor Webinar Series directly from our homepage. Access to the Tool Box Talks Program is found through the members-only portion of Sprayfoam.org.

If you aren’t a member of SPFA, visit www.sprayfoam.org/membership to explore all the benefits and to fill out an application. For those who haven’t renewed their 2021 membership, we encourage you to do so ASAP so you can take advantage of these new offerings!
