Next Generation Power Provides Cost-Effective Engines for Spray Foam Operators

JACKSONVILLE, FL - June 3, 2011 - Gino Kennedy of Next Generation Power is an expert in the power solutions sectors. Over the course of his company's existence, he has come in contact with spray foam. While he insists he's not an expert in the field, he has witnessed mobile spray foam businesses become an increasingly large component of his company's business.

Next Generation has provided unique and innovative power solutions for the marine and industrial markets for a decade. The company, which has always specialized in diesel gen-sets and related components, also services and repairs gen-sets used by spray foam rigs, Kennedy affirms. What's more, as he interacted with more mobile spray foam businesses at trade shows, he noticed they weren't performing their work as efficiently as they could.

"As we saw more and more mobile spray foam businesses at trade shows. We realized the equipment most rigs were using was inefficient, as they were running separate generators and compressors," Kennedy asserts.

Seeing an opportunity in the market, Kennedy moved to shift his own business to better serve the mobile spray foam businesses. The transition was a natural progression, according to Kennedy, as he saw a market hole and he moved to fill it.

"Because our company has prided itself on developing reliable and cost-effective solutions for power generation needs in all types of industries, we knew we could apply our 10 plus years of experience to offer better, more cost-effective products for the spray foam market," Kennedy said.

Currently, Next Generation Power targets mobile spray foam operators of all sizes, from small to large. The wide array of base engines they manufacture are able to be used by businesses that are relatively small to those that serve large-scale purposes.

Ultimately, Next Generation builds two basic generation and compressor units that are "widely customizable," Kennedy said. Traditionally, companies will set up a gen-set that drives an electric-powered compressor, but Next Generation's models are more efficient and can cut business costs.

"There are no massive start-up electrical loads, so we can use smaller generators to create packages much more compact than two pieces of equipment," Kennedy says when comparing his equipment to conventional systems. "And, ours are more economical to operate."

Kennedy says that Next Generation representatives are "the experts at solving power needs." A number of the company's offerings were designed based on customer feedback and input, giving their engines a leg up on the competition.

"Spray foam operators can contact us for their electrical and air needs. Often we can provide guidance on designing new rigs and combination units based on our experience with past customers," Kennedy affirms.
