American WeatherStar Plans to Regularly Host Fluid-Applied Coatings Course

MOBILE, AL – December 8, 2014 – American WeatherStar (AWS), an industry leading supplier of fluid-applied commercial metal and flat roof coatings and commercial roof restoration systems, is pleased to announce plans to regularly host a two-day industry crash-course (FAST Academy) at its corporate facility in Mobile, AL.  The course offers commercial roofing contractors and AWS dealers valuable tips on industry trends, best sales practices, product technology, application techniques and demos the latest industry tools and equipment.

The inaugural FAST (Fluid-Applied System Techniques) Academy at American WeatherStar, was held on November 5 and 6, 2014. Guests at the two-day course included contractors from across the country and equipment reps from Graco, Inc. and Rooftop Equipment. The primary goal of the event was bringing together American WeatherStar dealers, contractors, field representatives and staff members in a fast-paced, hands-on and traditional learning environment to expand knowledge of the coatings industry, strengthen skill sets with product application techniques and share tips on best sales practice as group.
