NCFI Polyurethanes Welcomes Rex Klentzman, P.E. to Geotechnical Division
MOUNT AIRY, NC – June 23, 2026 – NCFI Polyurethanes is pleased to announce that Rex Klentzman, P.E. has joined the company's Geotechnical Division. Widely recognized as one of the industry's most respected and experienced technical authorities in polyurethane ground improvement and specialty grouting, Klentzman brings more than two decades of experience supporting transportation, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, energy, and water-related projects throughout North America.
Unlike many engineering professionals, Klentzman's career in polyurethane ground improvement began in the field, serving on polyurethane injection crews before earning his engineering credentials. Over the years, he transformed that hands-on experience into technical and engineering leadership, helping contractors, engineers, and project owners better understand where polyurethane technologies fit, how they perform, and how they can be successfully applied to complex geotechnical challenges.
Today, Klentzman is licensed in 25 U.S. jurisdictions and is recognized throughout the industry for his contributions to polyurethane ground improvement, specialty grouting, technical education, engineering methodologies, and the advancement of polyurethane technologies within the geotechnical marketplace.

In his new role, Klentzman will support NCFI's efforts to expand technical education, project development resources, engineer engagement, and specification support for companies utilizing NCFI polyurethane systems. He will work closely with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to help advance the understanding and application of polyurethane ground improvement technologies across a growing range of geotechnical applications.
"Rex has spent his career helping shape how our industry understands polyurethane ground improvement," said Josh Burcaw, Executive Vice President of NCFI's Geotechnical Division. "His combination of field experience, engineering expertise, and technical credibility is exceptional.
We're excited about the value he'll bring to the companies using NCFI polyurethane systems and the broader geotechnical community."
"Polyurethane technologies continue to gain acceptance across a growing range of geotechnical applications," said Klentzman. "I'm excited to join NCFI and help support the companies using these materials while continuing to advance the industry's understanding of what's possible with polyurethane ground improvement."
The addition of Klentzman reflects NCFI's ongoing commitment to technical leadership, customer support, and the continued advancement of polyurethane solutions for soil stabilization, infrastructure rehabilitation, and specialty geotechnical applications.
