Spray Foam Magazine – Show 2026 – Canadian Urethane, creators of Grizzly Gold Spray Foam, launches high-capacity battery pack system in partnership with U.S.-based spray foam rig builder, SprayWorks Equipment of Canton, Ohio. Spray foam is one of the most energy-efficient insulation solutions available—yet its installation has typically relied on generators that produce high degrees of noise, exhaust, and heat throughout the workday. That contradiction inspired Canadian Urethane’s latest innovation a high-capacity battery pack system for mobile spray foam rigs. The system brings spray foam installation in line with the product’s energy-efficient benefits, delivering reliable power without compromise.

PURPOSE-BUILT POWER FOR MOBILE RIGS

Mobile spray foam rigs require high amperage and sustained power, making battery design complex. Development involved engineering firms and several design iterations to fine-tune power delivery, safety, and system stability. The result: a battery pack capable of continuously spraying two or more sets of spray foam on a full charge.

Contractors can now pull into a residential neighborhood, park right next to a house, and work all day without waking the neighbors. This battery pack has been tested across four full seasons, including harsh Canadian winter conditions and intense heats of summer, performing consistently without failure. Contractors can rely on it year-round, even in extreme temperatures. Operating costs are dramatically lower, with daily recharge estimated at just $5, offering predictable, economical power without fuel volatility. The system also has two recharge options that allow flexibility depending on available power connections.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH SPRAYWORKS EQUIPMENT

By partnering with SprayWorks Equipment, this field-ready innovative solution meets real-world equipment demands and workflows. Purpose-built for mobile spray foam rigs, the battery pack is durable, dependable, and designed for long workdays. It delivers consistent power under demanding conditions, providing contractors with a reliable alternative to diesel generators. The advancement of battery-operated spray foam rigs signals more than a new power source — it reflects the spray foam industry’s continued evolution toward smarter, more responsible jobsite practices. It’s innovation that not only enhances productivity, but also strengthens the industry’s reputation for forward-thinking, sustainable solutions.

The high-capacity battery pack system is available now. Contractors seeking specifications, compatibility, and availability can contact either company, depending on their location.
