Spray Foam Magazine – Show Issue 2022 – SprayFoam 2022 Convention and Expo is officially back this month, hitting the Lone Star State in San Antonio, Texas February 28 through March 3. This will be our very first time at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and, after taking last year off because of COVID-19 restrictions, the industry-wide anticipation for this show is undeniable. Everyone is ready to get back to business, as well as the fun, of all things sprayfoam. If you’ve made plans to attend (and we hope you have!), let this be your guide of what not to miss on the floor, in education, certifications and so much more at this year’s convention.

The show kicks off on Monday, February 28 and Tuesday, March 1 with SPFA Certification Exam Preparatory Classes, (free) Field Exams, Written Exams, and SPF Installer Certification Training by the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA). The annual Golf Tournament is happening on Tuesday at noon, with transport leaving directly from the Marriott Riverwalk at 10:15am. Sign up to participate in all these activities as soon as possible since space is limited in some events. To register, go to sprayfoam.org. Golf Tournament registration must be completed by February 15.

Join your industry friends on Wednesday, March 2 at 7:00am for a continental breakfast followed by General Session, Welcome Address with Rick Duncan, SPFA President’s Message with Bryan Heldreth, and Keynote with construction industry expert, author and speaker Shawn Van Dyke. Van Dyke will present All-Star Creator: How Employees and Employers Create a Culture that Attracts Top Talent, a session that will give attendees a framework for attracting and creating an all-star team amidst the ongoing labor shortage.

“This is going to be an action-packed event,” says Bryan Heldreth, president of the SPFA. “We are hosting more breakout sessions than ever before. Additionally, the 16th Annual SPFA National Industry Excellence Awards Ceremony sponsored by Arkema and Evonik will be held after the conference luncheon on Wednesday, March 2.

This time around, all Spray Foam World Wide members are invited to attend both the NIE Awards ceremony and the exhibit floor at a discounted rate of $25.00 by using a promo code.”

The SPFA will announce one Grand Prize Winner at this year’s awards and that lucky company will receive a Marketing Prize of digital marketing services valued at $10,000 and designed to help grow the business.

Explore the latest and greatest product innovations in this year’s Exhibit Hall. Plan to stop at the first ever Exhibitor Showcase where exhibitors and SPFA members are demonstrating products that solve contractor problems. After two full days of exhibits and breakout sessions on March 2 and 3, the convention will end with a Closing Reception.
