PMC Training Program Certifies 'Authorized Sales and Service Centers' for Spray Foam and Polyurea Equipment

LAKEWOOD, NJ (June 10, 2010) – While most industry training courses follow a similar format, Polyurethane Machinery Corporation (PMC, formerly Gama) has taken a different approach by using their training  program as a requirement to certify their “Authorized Sales and Service Centers.” Once a dealer has successfully completed the course, they are then certified to sell and service PMC equipment as well as train the products’ end-users.

This concept proved to be a success when all 20 spots for the first training, which took place in April, were quickly filled. The course was well received by all in attendance and encouraged PMC to schedule another course for June 23-24.

The course places a significant focus on hands-on training of PMC equipment using both spray foam and polyurea at the company’s manufacturing facility. Not only do attendees get to use the equipment in a spray booth, but they also partake in the actual assembly, testing and troubleshooting of new machines and spray guns. Participants also review past warranty claims and review the resolutions. Other topics covered include safety, competitive selling/product comparison and an overview of the company’s background as well as plans for the future in regards to production, sales and new products. Bill Hrynkiewicz, PMC’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, points out, “This combination of classroom work with extensive technical hands-on training provides a comprehensive understanding of our products.”

“Being certified as an Authorized Sales and Service Center through this course allows dealers to become proficient with PMC equipment and enables them to offer a wide range of new products to their customers. Setting up a network of regional centers also helps us facilitate the best possible customer service by ensuring that we have representatives all across the US who have been trained and certified at our manufacturing facility.”

The course takes place at PMC’s production facility at Two Gusmer Drive in Lakewood, NJ. For more information, call 732-415-4465 or visit www.polymac-usa.com.
