New England Spray Foam Distributing Company Opens New Training Facility
WOODSTOCK, NH - July 1, 2011 – Spray Foam Distributors of New England, Inc. recently announced their plans to now offer 3-day BaySeal spray foam certification and training programs at their new office in Woodstock, NH.
The new Spray Foam Distributors of New England (SFDONE) building began construction in August 2010. “Since January 1, 2011, we have been moving people from our offices in Littleton, NH to the new office in Woodstock, NH.” said George Spanos, President of SFDONE. The new office is currently sitting on an acre of land with a 5,000 square feet building fully equipped with an open workshop, spray booth, conference room, offices and a warehouse. Spanos adds, “There are no current plans to build another building on the site, but we will add more if needed. It is amazing how fast you can fill a 5,000 sqaure foot space." According to SFDONE, they currently have the largest inventory of Graco parts and BaySeal foam in New England. In addition, the company also has a full inventory of respiratory protective equipment along with other items that could enable a customer to start and run a full time spray foam business.
With the new facility up and running, Spanos and his team at SFDONE are planning several training programs for this year that will be held at the new Woodstock, NH office. SFDONE was recently selected by Bayer Materials Science to host the Bayer Applicator Information Program in New England. “With new certification requirements now requiring contractors to be certified to buy and spray Bayer foam, we are honored to assist contractors to become Bayer certified,” said Spanos. “With our new facility we will be able to provide contractors the necessary education and skills to properly handle the chemical materials.”
SFDONE will be holding their first training program for three days at their office on July 12, 13, and 14, 2011. “We are planning on having a minimum of three Bayer training programs a year," said Spanos. "We have the upcoming program in July, another in September, and one in March of next year. We may also include some one-day seminars from time to time. The spray foam industry is growing rapidly and all of us at SFDONE and Bayer feel that it is extremely important to have the proper knowledge to do quality work. The Bayer name has always been synonymous with quality and homeowners can now expect the installation to reflect that.”
The courses are expected to cover a variety of topics including: health and safety, equipment orientation, chemical handling, and equipment application. The courses will be entirely taught by representatives of Bayer Material Science with on-site personnel from SFDONE assisting the training.
According to SFDONE, the training is expected to be an in-depth, detailed and "hands on" program with a maximum student capacity of 15. The current cost for the program is at $500 for all three days and includes lunch everyday and one dinner.
