CPI And Spray Foam Coalition To Offer Industry Insight And Discuss SPF At SPFA Convention in Jacksonville

WASHINGTON, DC – February 6, 2013 – Next week in Jacksonville, Florida, the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) and the Spray Foam Coalition (SFC) will lead two breakout sessions at the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance's Convention and Expo. CPI and the SFC will also host a booth, offering information about the benefits of spray polyurethane foam (SPF), along with information on health and safety practices, including the new low-pressure SPF training program.

On Thursday, February 14th, CPI Senior Director Lee Salamone will lead a breakout session entitled "Manufacturers Supporting Spray Foam Contracting Community" from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The session will provide an update on topics related to product stewardship, research, and chemical health and safety programs. This session will also highlight the SFC's product promotion efforts, product research, and other activities designed to help support growth in the spray foam market.

On Friday, February 15th, Rick Duncan, consultant for SFC, will present a breakout session entitled "Spray Foam for Unvented Attics" from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In this session, Duncan will discuss energy savings related to unvented attics and considerations for SPF contractors before, during, and after installation.

"We hope everyone attending the SPFA Convention and Expo next week in Jacksonville will visit CPI and SFC at booth no. 109. We recently released the new Low-Pressure SPF Chemical Health and Safety Training in English and Spanish, and our corresponding high-pressure training is now available in Spanish as well. We will have information about those training programs, as well as the latest updates on product stewardship and promotion," said Salamone.

The SPFA Convention and Expo will be held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville-Riverfront from February 12th through the 15th.
