International Builders' Show to Feature Education Session on Spray Foam

WASHINGTON, DC–January 17, 2013–Next week at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders' Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) Senior Director Lee Salamone will be part of an education session to highlight information that builders and contractors need to know to help them choose the right spray polyurethane foam (SPF) product for the job and understand safe application considerations. The session will take place on Tuesday, January 22nd from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in room North 253, and qualifies for a 1.5 hours of continuing education credits from NAHB.

"The International Builders' Show is a wonderful opportunity to reach builders, spray foam manufacturers and spray foam installers with this important information. I'm pleased to work with Matt Belcher, Richard Duncan, David Jaffe and Kurt Riesenberg to help everyone better understand the different types of SPF, their uses, benefits, and health and safety considerations. This education session will be an excellent resource for anyone who wants to learn more about SPF or already works with the product," said Salamone.

CPI, in partnership with Research Foundation for Health and Environmental Effects (RFHEE), recently released a new low-pressure SPF health and safety training program, which is available for free on www.spraypolyurethane.org. The low-pressure training complements the high-pressure training which was released in 2010; both programs are available in English and Spanish.
