RICOWI Launches New Roofing Website For Easier More Modern Navigation

September 9, 2008 - Powder Springs, GA - RICOWI is pleased to announce the launch of its newly designed website www.ricowi.com.  This modern dynamic, database-driven concept is a major improvement over the old static configuration.

Chairman Rick Olson stated “the new search engine makes the site modern easier to navigate. As a new feature users can now review past seminar power point presentations by clicking on the seminar resource archive tab.”  All Sponsor Members have direct links to their respective sites.  The calendar contains dates for code hearing and industry conferences. 

RICOWI has been actively involved in hurricane and hail investigation research, fielding extensive teams balanced with insurance, industry and academia members. Our past hurricane and hail investigation reports can be downloaded free of charge on our revised website. RICOWI’s Website Committee plans to upload a new digital photo library that will contain photos from past wind and hurricane investigations.  In addition, a bibliography of wind and hail related documents have been assembled for inclusion in the new site.
 
Our RICOWI fall membership meeting will be held on Monday, October 6th at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Charleston, SC. The fall seminar will be held the following day. Details are posted on the website.

RICOWI is a nonprofit organization comprised of all of the major roofing associations and includes members of academia, educational and testing facilities and others involved in the science of roofing.
