Rhino Linings Acquires San Diego-Based Expo Stucco

SAN DIEGO, CA – December 27, 2013 – Rhino Linings Corporation, a leader in the protective coatings industry, has acquired the assets of Expo Industries Inc., a San Diego-based manufacturer of the popular Expo Stucco™ interior and exterior stucco products, sealers, bonders, patch products, and plaster mixes.

This acquisition expands Rhino Linings line of building products, which already include waterproofing products, spray polyurethane foam insulation, decorative concrete, and epoxy flooring systems.

Since it was founded 84 years ago, Expo Stucco has become a leader in the building industry with well-known products such as GX2® Premium Exterior Stucco and MX3® Scratch and Brown plaster mix. In 2013, Expo Stucco was voted Vendor of the Year by the California Building Materials Dealers Association.

All Expo Stucco products are now available from Rhino Linings. Twelve Expo Stucco employees joined Rhino Linings and will continue manufacturing and packaging operations at the Expo Stucco facilities, located less than a mile from the Rhino Linings headquarters.
