ICAA Urges Spray Foam Industry Stakeholders to Support the Extension of 25c Tax Credit

WASHINGTON, D.C.–The Senate Committee on Finance will conduct a hearing on August 2, 2012 regarding The Family and Business Tax Cut Certainty Act of 2012. The hearing, which convenes at 10 a.m., will be led by Chairman Max Baucus (D-Montana) and Ranking Member Oren Hatch (R-Utah).

Because the bill includes an extension of the Section 25c tax credit, Energy Efficiency Improvements to Existing Homes, the Insulation Contractors Association of America (ICAA) is urging industry stakeholders to contact their Congressional Representatives and ask them to endorse the bill.

"The tax credit expired 12/31/11 and we need Congress to extend the tax credit, so that we can boost employment and get the factories running in our communities," the ICAA stated in an announcement.

Those interested in supporting efforts to pass the bill can fill out a model letter hosted on ICAA's website. For more information, please use the contact details and links provided below.
