Foam Roofing Jobs Highlighted in 'Spotlight on Excellence' Project

American WeatherStar announces the first recipient of their “Spotlight On Excellence” as the Olmos Towers Condominiums, San Antonio project which was recently completed by Winco of South Texas.

This project not only highlights the tremendous skill of the contractor, it also shows that no matter what type of commercial flat roof you have, American WeatherStar can supply the roofing products you need to seal it right.

AWS System Installed:
Full Fabric Lined Butyl 310 System

Barry Kirkwood with Winco of South TX was the Project Manager for installing the AWS Full Fabric Lined Butyl 310 System. His crew first pressure-washed the entire surface, then carefully installed the fabric system using the American WeatherStar Fabric Bond 930 (BLUE COATING) to ensure good adhesion to the substrate.

The crew also used the same care in flashing each penetration and curbs on the roof.

Finally, two coats of the AWS Butyl 310 were applied to further add water-tight protection and protect the fabric system. Olmos Towers now has a "cool roof", to say the least, that will protect them against leaks for another ten years.
