Foam Dispensing System Offers Cost-Effective Delivery of More Foam

ST. LOUIS—Feb. 2, 2010—Convenience Products (www.convenienceproducts.com), the manufacturer of Touch ‘n Seal insulating foam products, announces the new CPDS 1000 Constant Pressure Foam Dispensing System.  The CPDS 1000 is an inexpensive, low-maintenance, portable constant pressure spray foam dispensing system that uses an internal air compressor to deliver higher foam yield at more than twice the speed as foam kits.  The system delivers Class 1 Fire Retardant foam from a unique double-valved disposable canister, ensuring consistent foam flow and reduced chemical waste.

“This is a very exciting, innovative development in the insulating field,” says Bob Tubbesing, vice president of marketing at Convenience Products. “The CPDS 1000 is ideal for business start-ups or service expansion for any contractor that doesn’t want a major investment.”

With an internal air compressor, the CPDS 1000 operates on a standard 120V power supply and comes complete with all necessary tools and cleaners.  “Efficiency, energy savings and environmental awareness are the name of the game today,” states Tubbesing. “The CPDS 1000 is the culmination of all these things.  Reduced chemical waste, reduced fossil fuel consumption, reduced overall energy consumption, no ozone depleting chemicals – you name it, the CPDS 1000 offers it.”

The Touch ‘n Seal CPDS 1000 operates with the CP750FR Class 1 fire-retardant foam kits and is designed for use in residential and commercial sealing and insulating applications.  Using a constant delivery rate, the CPDS 1000 applies polyurethane spray foam to horizontal or vertical surfaces. Hoses up to 150’ long are available, allowing for jobsite portability and versatility.  No chemical calibration is required.  With an empty weight of less than 155 lbs., and a 24” x 33” footprint, the CPDS 1000 fits in the back of a standard truck and easily navigates through standard doorways and entrances.

Touch ‘n Seal foams contain no CFCs and are International Residential Code Compliant.  The CPDS 1000 is available nationwide and throughout Canada.  For a local distributor, please call Convenience Products Customer Service at 1-800-325-6180.
