spraying aluminum
Has anyone had any problems with foam sticking to aluminum? I have a small job to do that there is aluminum to spray to. Now that I think about it, I have sprayed it in the past, with no issues. Anyone have any experience spraying aluminum?

We did a garage in the middle of summer one time. 1.5" and had no problems. We sprayed 2lb closed cell, customer was very happy when we were done, and also received a follow up from the same customer this winter telling us that all the snow now melt's off their cars.

We also sprayed a light coat of foam on the back side of the 2x4's that ran horizontal. The aluminum ran vertical. We did this to ensure a tight building envelope, and consistant look inside the garage.

2 lb. closed cell adheres great to aluminum considering there is no oil or residue on it and it's not cold.
