Thermal Imaging Camera Manufacturer to Host Conference in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - Sept. 16, 2011 - InfraMation 2011 will take place at Bally's in Las Vegas November 9-11, 2011. The conference will feature presentations and clinics focused on using thermal imagers to inspect energy efficiency in buildings, insulation, roofs and HVAC, as well as more building investigation topics.

InfraMation is the world’s largest infrared camera user conference with more than 500 attendees last year, according to Haley Barclay, Advertising and Public Relations Manager for FLIR Systems, the major organizer of the conference.

“We are in a complete niche,” said Barclay, highlighting InfraMation’s specific focus on education and business development in the thermal imaging sector.

Contractors and building inspectors interested in thermal imaging, or those who are already using the infrared technology for non-invasive inspections can learn from peers and thermography experts from around the world. Presentations and clinics will include:

  • Using Thermal Imaging to Find R-Values in Insulated Stud Frame Walls
  • Advanced Building [Infrared Inspection] Applications
  • Techniques for On-Roof Inspections
  • Thermography as an Aid in Building Commissioning
  • Using IR to Find HVAC Problems

InfraMation has been going on for over a decade and is sponsored by the Infrared Training Center (ITC), FLIR Systems and Extech Instruments. Registration is open now, and a $100 savings off the full registration fee is available until September 22. Interested contractors should to visit www.InfraMation.org or call 1-877-773-3547 for more information.
