Spraying Pipe
I have never sprayed pipe before.

What type of foam is recommended? Thickness? Am I able to spray with my Fusion AP? Is there a special attachment to the gun for pipe? If so what size of chamber? What pressure should I set the proportioner at? How much waste should I factor in

Thanks

Are the pipes heated or cooled?
Stainless, galvanized steel or cast iron?
Interior or exterior?
I've sprayed a lot of pipes over the years from 6" up to 6' in dia. We typically use 2lb foam but have used 3lb too. Thickness is usually 1 1/2"-2" or more depending on what the pipes are used for.
Use a small tip and turn the pressures down. You don't want a big spray pattern wasting foam. Over spray is a BIG problem. Lots of cover up!

Thanks...if I am understanding you, spraying a pipe smaller than 6" is pointless. If there are any coatings on this pipe ie: oil should it be washed off prior to spraying?
