We are currently seeking qualified subcontractors to procure and deliver insulation (fiberglass overlay) and mineral board for use in the manufacture of office furniture at Federal Prison Industries (FPI), UNICOR, Washington, D.C. , U.S under a government contract. 1. Project Overview This project is to procure and deliver insulation (fiberglass overlay) and mineral board for use in the manufacture of office furniture at Federal Prison Industries (FPI), UNICOR, Washington, D.C. , U.S Issuing Agency: Federal Prison Industries (FPI), UNICOR. Set-Aside: This is a 100% small business set-aside. Contract Type: Single Award, ID/IQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity). Performance Period: 5 years based on the actual award date. 2. Scope of Work (SOW) The contractor is to procure insulation (fiberglass overlay) and mineral board for use in the manufacture of office furniture. The contract requires pricing for all line items on the price sheet (attached), which include: Mineral Board: Item #1 & #15 (7/16"x60"x78"), Item #2 (1/2"x4'x8' Mineral Fiber Board), and Item #3 (3/8"x4'x8" Industrial Wood Fiber Panels/Mineral Fiber Board). Fiberglass Insulation/Overlay: Item #4-12 (1/4" thickness in various widths from 12" to 60") to be used in acoustical panels/partitions. Fiberglass Batts: Item #14 (2 1/2" thick, 8-foot length, unfaced, flexible batts) designed for noise control in wall cavities of interior partitions. Note: This is not a name brand requirement; any specific brand reference is for reference purposes only. 3.
