Survey - Transfer Pumps
Which pumps are you using?

T1, T2, Graco 1:1 - Fastflo, Graco 2:1, IPM OP232C, IPM IP01, IPM IP02, IPM OP242, Husky 716, Husky 1040, Aro

Do you encounter any problems with temperature changes?

How fast can you rebuild one, if you had a repair kit onhand?

Almost sounds like a challenge.

I used to have the 1:1 fast flo's, constant problems on the "A" side due to the crystalization.

I now use Aro 2:1(Gusmer OP262). The "B" side I probably could have torn down and rebuilt in under 20 min. The "A" side would take me a few hours due to the hardened iso on it and how much.

Unless I pump from a cold set, which I never do is the only way I'd see a problem with temp. change making pump seem sluggish.

Stay clear of any diaphram pumps. IPM 2-1 are great pumps.

8 232c's
2 t2's
4 1040's
2 716's (?)

prefer the 232's the t2's camae as a surprise,,thought i was gettin 232's...i donot like the bung adapter for the t2's,,they suck with iso...
the diaphragms we use to bulk xfer from the supply rig to the spray rig,,,

can rebuild the 232's in a half hour or so...and do so every winter,,,but like the gentleperson above said,,the iso pumps can take longer if they are cheezedup real good...

there ya go

Thanks - I didn't know you had T2's, did I send them instead of the 232's? I remember you got four but I thought they were 232's.

I don't like the bung adapter either it's plastic. I am in the parts business at LaPolla now, call if you need anything.

We build about 2-5 rigs a week, most of them use a 716 husky on the A side and a IPM 1:1 on the B side.
If you are experienced with these pumps you can rebuild in 30 min. or less.

How do you stand the rifle blast noise of the T2's?

We are demoing a couple of them with a Graco Xp-3 and they are decent pumps but Ohh so loud.
