Sprayed PU Foam as fire hazard
Hi Mason,
Do you know anything about FM global which classifies polyurethane foam as a flame hazard material. They did not approve the use of SPF in their roofing. Do you mind checking on their web site www.fmglobal.com
and help me counter their claims.

Thanks

This may be a case of one hand not knowing what the other hand is doing. FM Global Research tests roof coverings and classifies them if they pass a series of tests as Class I Roof Coverings. The tests include fire tests both inside and outside the building. More than a dozen SPF foam and coating systems have been tested and approved and listed as Class I Roof Coverings.
