Insulating Greenhouses or Qounset buildings.
I have always thought of building a greenhouse style building and foaming it with 2lb. Now I see that there are several guys doing just that. Does anybody have any knowledge on the topic. 1) What to use as the outer plastic or fabric? 2) How far of span should the hoops be placed any added substrate? 3)What to use as an inside coating? 4) Any guesses to a life span of such a building? Anyway any thoughts woulb be greatly appreiciated. |

dave,, remember,,, engineering.... without it you got,,, liability... dare to dream,,but dream smart... do a google search for monolithic dome institute out of tx...dave south,, the guy who wrote the "r value myth"...now here is a versitle structure with engineering to boot... #1) fabric.. 2) pends on the size of the structure... 3) pends on how you use it...acrylic,,polyurea,,,cementious 4) pends how you build it have fun think foam 'dude |
