icynene vs. thermoseal 500
Are there any differences between icynene and thermoseal 500. My understanding is that they are very similar and even made in the same factory in Canada. Still, it is very difficult to find an unbiased opinion on either of these products. Thanks.

From what I can tell on their respective websites, they are different companies with different manufacturing locations. I have not heard of Icynene private labeling any products and I don't think it is consistent with their marketing plans or history. It appears the Thermoseal is made with a bio based resin and is an open cell 0.5 lb density sprayfoam. I have no personal experience with the product so cannot offer any other information |
