breathing air panels
I am looking to buy a breathing air panel and there are some with CO monitors and filters. How prevalent is CO inside a trailer that would get into the compressed air system? The diesel exhaust is vented outside and is not detectable inside the trailer. I know CO is the silent killer though, and certainly don't want to take any chances.

Hi Tim.

The Co2 monitor models can be a real hassle if you're just working by yourself. I'd go without it.

MST makes one and
Martech does too.

Good luck and have fun. The Martech will match your new red machine :).

Hi Tim,
You really should have a CO monitor, it comes with 90 db audible alarm.
If your compressor and generator are in the same space, it is quite easy to draw carbon monoxide into the compressed air system

You can also get a portable fresh air system with CO monitors, I like the Allegro Carry Air www.allegrosafety.com. You don't have to mount it in your truck/trailer, its goes with you, spending less $ on the fresh air hose.
