Basement Walls & Thermal Barriers
I get so many calls for basement walls....the sill plate & entire foundation wall down to the floor.
This makes the basement so much more comfortable!

Most building inspector don't have a problem with the sill plate, but when the entire wall is addressed they are looking for a thermal barrier.
Anyone have luck with tpr2 Fireshell as a thermal barrier the inspector will approve / they have all the tests as long as your using one of the foams they tested their product with.

Also has anyone used Foam Safe by Specialty Products?

DC 315 from paint to protect has been tested over more brands of foam than any other product that I am aware of. Easy one coat application unlike other products that require 2 coats or require mixing 2 products together. Even though it looks well mixed, be sure to mix it well before you apply. See link at left for all of the tested foams.

I use the DC315 product. Water clean-up, 1 coat application.
