We are building a small house in Highland and I wanted to get a bid from you on spray foam for the exterior walls of our heated space with 2x6 construction (30'x50' w/9' walls). I've been doing a lot of research and interested in getting a high R value, but also don't want to go broke doing it. What do you think about 2" closed cell in combination with R13 batt in walls to get to about R26? Is that overkill? Also interested in doing 14-15 inches of blown cellulose in the ceiling. Can you supply a bid on; 1) 2 inches closed cell in walls and 14-15 inches blown cellulose in ceiling, and #2) Option 2, Open cell in walls, 3.5 inches or more... maybe as much as 5" depending on the cost, as well as 14-15 inches blown cellulose in ceiling. |
