Putting a Metal Roof Over Asphalt - Does It Work?
I'm considering upgrading my old asphalt roof to a more durable metal one. But I'm wondering, is it possible to install a metal roof directly over the asphalt?I've heard mixed opinions and I'm trying to figure out if it's a viable option. I'm concerned about the additional weight on my house and the complexity of the installation.
