Probler P2 gun
it's me againi guess i was mistaken about flat spray tips for roofs, need to use a round tip, heres is my question the p2 was delivered with a 02 mixing chamber and a 00 round tip.does the chamber and tip have to match i.e. 00 chamber 00 tip and so on. thanks wayne |

No, the chamber and the tip do not need to match. But the setup that he gave you is not correct for roofing. you need a 03 chamber with a 02 or 03 tip. But you shouldn't be spraying roofs without training to do so. luke |

00 chamber with 00 tip only 01 chamber with 01 tip 02 chamber with 01, 02 tips 03 chamber with 01, 02, 03 tips Our Glascaft Rep/employee said that 00 only goes with 00. Can't use 00 tip with larger chambers or you'll have some back up issues. |

I keep the 02 mix chamber in my P2 gun all of the time. To control the amount of material coming out, I just change the mix chamber insert. I use the 00 insert with the 02 chamber alot and have never had an issue because of it. George |

I just sprayed an oo tip with an 01 chamber due to the need to clean the other chambers and tips while spraying. We only needed to spray for about an hour and didn't have a problem but I'm sure that my rep (an old gc guy that is now with a foam manufacturer) said 00 is only designed to go with 00. Maybe he didn't get the memo that says it can work. |
