measureing moisture
have an associate who wants to remediate hail damage to spf roof...
how does he access the moisture intrusion into the foam??
what is an acceptable level for respray and recoat without scarfing??
at what moisture level should he scarf??
what other "pearls" of application should he consider??

Need to know a couple things. How long has it been since the hail damage, and to what extent was the size of the hail and the breaks, and what type of coating is on the roof?

dude, I wrote a paper on repairing hail damaged SPF roofs quite a few years ago. SPFA's Technical Committee used large portions of it for a technical guideline. You can download at sprayfoam.org document number AY 139 Repair of Hail Damaged SPF Roofing Systems.
