Hole in Whip Hose - Splice?
We have a pin size hole in one of our whip hoses and another foam guy suggested going to a hydraulic shop and having them splice it back together.Anyone done this before? and how long did it work for? Thanks. |

just go to the hydraulic shop and have them make up two new hoses it isn't much more than the splice because you need two fittings to make the splice and you only need the ten feet of hose and two fittings to make a new hose. And the hose is cheeper than the fittings. Airpro |

How do you get the hose out from the copper heating coils? And do you shrink wrap the new hoses? Thanks Matt |

You cannot separate the heating copper from the hose. Order a new whip. |

Use an unheated whip and you'll have less problems, my onheated whip is 3years old with no problems and costs less than $100 to replace. Airpro |
