windsor ontario crawl space
just south of us in canada, I have a potential crawl space job. my previous jobs ALL had heating ducts in the basement.this has no heating ducts. heating ducts are in the ceiling. This 2 year old addition is 18' X 18'. floors are cold as heck. customers wife is not happy with the cold floor. Has r-19 fiberglass under the floor stapled to the floor joists. 6 mil plastic down already over the floor.
what is the correct avenue to provide this family with a warm floor?

You should be able to remove the fiberglass and spray foam directly to the underside of the floor. I would perform some moisture calculations to determine the appropriate thickness of foam and where the vapor retarder should be placed.

There are different rules and conditions if the crawl space is vented or unvented. Check your local building codes and ask your foam supplier for help. You can also check out the SPFA technical document on below grade applications. at sprayfoam.org. I can't remember the number off hand but is around AY 140- AY 144
