what to do with fiberglass under floor (crawl space)
got a crawl space.(5 year addition to ranch house) customer hung fiberglass and was not happy with the results. too hot or too cold. will spray 2" on crawl space wall and vents. will put 6 mill plastic down on the dirt.i can pull all the dusty fiberglass out.but, my question is: does it really need to come out?

The fiberglass is not a sufficient substrate to apply the foam to. The foam would only have the sides of the joists for adhesion and you run the risk of the foam falling out due to the fiberglass not supporting the weight of the foam. Get someone else to remove the fiberglass. Most homeowners are happy to save the money and do it themselves.

let me clarify. the fiberglass is under the floor. stapled to the studs under the floor. the side walls are clear! i will spray the walls with no problem.

is there any major reason to take out the fiberglass?

It would be nice to remove it, along with the mold sanctuary it becomes.

Tell the customer about mold and ask him to remove it. Then spray it right.

all the best,
