Transfer Pumps - Let's settle it!
1:1's, 2:1's and Diaphragm Pumps. Ask ten techs and get ten different answers. Which works best for 'A' and which works best for 'B', and WHY? Considerations: .5#, 2#, water blown and HFC-245fa.

I think 2:1 stick pumps are best. It is what I use and what comes standard with some of the glascraft equipment packages.

Diaphragm pumps, while desirable for their simplicity and longevity, will not work well with 245fa resins because of cavitation issues. Stick (no pun intended) with a stick pump on the B-side of 245fa resins.
