roof warping
I built my house back in October 2016 I sub contracted the insulation to a spray foam company in which they spayed open cell foam directly to the under side of my roof decking and gable end walls, now every where foam was applied i have warping issues. The foam has pulled the decking down between the trusses causing the metal roof to dip between trusses rolling edges of metal sheets up. I have 10ft porches in which no foam was applied also no foam in the outside walls in which they are all straight with no warping. I need to find a expert to ascertain the cause of this damage.

Mike,

I haven't seen open cell foam cause warping of a roof deck unless there is a moisture condensation issue. Call me at 571-239-5221 to discuss more fully and to see what we can do to evaluate and address the issue.

There is no way possible for open cell to do that unless they actually put closed cell in and you just dont know it. Its just not that strong.
