priming galvanized steel?
i will be insulating a galvanized steel quonset that is 30 years old, do i need to do any prep to the metal surface before applying an inch of closed cell? I sprayed some 2year old galvanized steel last year and got crummy adhesion (due to the oily film from manufacturing?).

Yes, galvanized steel typically requires an adhesive primer before application of sprayfoam. Contact your supplier for their recommendation.
