cleaning up cured overspray
Help!!On the job we are just finishing, we managed to get over spray on the newly installed aluminum clad garage door. I tried Clay Magic an automotive cleaner, but did not work. The cured foam is .5# open. Are there any miracles out there? Ireally don't want to replace this door. And painting it not acceptable. Thanks!! |

There are no miracles. Paint the door, you should not have to replace it. |

There is a little brush attachment that goes on a dremel tool. It will remove the overspray and residue without damaging the paint! If you have already rubbed through the paint you are out of luck! Tim Granite State Spray Foam Co. |

I've had good luck with super fine steel wool - 0000 or finer if you can find it. Wet or dry. Try an inconspicuous place first. I even used it on vinyl windows. |

I had the same issue. I buffed off what I could with a dremel and polishing wheel. It looked like the green scrubbie material used for dishes. FInd out what brand of door it is and get a touch up kit from the manufacturer. George |
