can light covers
Is there anything out there you guys are using to cover can lights before you spray?

If the cans are IC rated and they should be in an attic area. You can spray right over them. You may want to double check with the can manufacturer ,but all of the Ic's we ran into the reps said spraying over was fine. If they are not IC rated we make a sheetmetal enclosure being sure to supply the proper space around usually 3" to prevent overheating.

i wrap all can lights with a layer (about 3") of fiberglass insulation, and cap the fixture with fiberglass insulation (about 3") and then cap the glass with foam,,,,i do this to all cans even the insulation buryable ones...
this will allow access to the can in the future,,and it releives some of the electrician angst...
insulation buryable cans can be sprayed to directly,,but again,, i cap mine...
