air circulation around porch
I'm looking to spray ahome that has a wrap around porch with a shingle roof. The homeowner is concerned that the porch around house will not have adequate air flow unless some type of baffle up the roof joist is installed to allow air to flow around porch and then out the top at the ridge vent. I'm new at this and didn't really have an answer.

In most circumstances I would not expect spraying foam to the underside of the roof deck would be a problem and in most cases help protect against moisture condensing on the underside of the roof deck.

But we would need a few more details such as:
Is the shingle roof covering both the porch and the house? Is the porch conditioned or non-conditioned? Is it a cathedral ceiling on the porch or an attic space above it? What is the climate, hot/humid, mixed or cold?
