open cell for sound deadening
seeing alot of media/home theater rooms..
what do you folks recomend for cost effective depths for sidewalls and subfloors of rooms above?
what other methods and/or products could be incorporated to effectively reduce sound levels?

Sorry `Dude. Been busy.

Cellulose is excellent for sound retention - better than open cell I think. There is also a product called Ultra-touch that is made from blue cotton fibers. It works very well too.
