Craw space is a dirt floor covered with plastic.Old log cabin and cold air is coming in around the outside perimeter of the floors. Can the metal duct work also be sprayed ? Thanks in advance.

Yes, this is a good place to spray foam. The 2007 IRC supplement allows SPF to be sprayed to ducts. The 2006 code does not allow it.
