Olin Corporation and Huntsman Corporation have entered into a definitive agreement to merge, creating a major North American chemicals company with expanded polyurethane systems, advanced materials and upstream chemical capabilities. The combined company, to be named OlinHuntsman, expects more than $400 million in cost synergies and integration benefits, with the transaction anticipated to close in the first half of 2027. read more
