    The Otterburne Curling Club in Manitoba, Canada is the latter. The club has been a fixture in the community since 1949, inspiring a love of the sport in generations old and new. But at 75 years old, the building’s age was beginning to show. The rink faced a host of issues related to the fiberglass insulation lining its walls and roof, such as high energy bills, fluctuating ambient temperatures, pesky condensation, and, perhaps worst of all, problems keeping the ice in prime condition. read more

The 2024 Olympic flame was lit on April 16th in Athens marking the start of its 1,242-mile journey from the port of Piraeus in Greece to its arrival in Marseille, France on May 8th. read more

    The city of Spring Creek is a rural community situated in a rugged valley close to the Ruby Mountains in central Elko County, Nevada. Starting out as a planned community in the 1970s, The Spring Creek Association (HOA) is one of the largest in the country and has a lot to offer its residents. With a 32-acre stocked lake, a private marina, an 18-hole golf course, skeet range, as well as a pistol and rifle range, this community is impressive. read more

    The impressive structure of the Kyle Field American football stadium sits on the campus of Texas A&M University (TAMU) in College Station, Texas. It has been home to the Texas A&M Aggies football team since Spring 1905, with a permanent concrete stadium being constructed in 1927. TAMU has updated their stadium several times over the past 96 years and in two recent projects, SPF was applied to both Kyle Field’s new suites and their metal framed indoor training facility (ITF). read more

    Jeremy Klein was on his way home to South Florida. As the plane made its final approach to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport from New York, he looked out the cabin window and was able to take in the spectacle of lights below. Even at a great height, the giant guitar of the Hard Rock Hotel was visible, with its flashing melodic colors shooting into the sky. Jeremy felt a special connection with the structure and building below, knowing that he played a part in bringing it to life. read more

    Peter Pan and Wendy, released on Disney+ earlier this year, is a modern live-action remake of the classic fairy tale, Peter Pan. The film features beautiful, scenic backdrops in its depiction of Neverland, most of which was filmed on site in British Columbia, Canada. But other larger-than-life set pieces required more than just a gorgeous location and good lighting to achieve. read more
